Obituary of Barbara Jane Rougeau
Barbara Jane Rougeau, 76, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and attended St. Mary’s RC Church in New Monmouth. She earned a degree in Sewing from Traphagens School of Fashion and participated in various courses at Georgian Court College.
Mrs. Rougeau was born in New York City, later moving to various locations as her husband proudly served our country in the Air Force, prior to moving to Red Bank where she has resided for over 42 years. Barbara is predeceased by her parents Walter R. and Florence (Wustl) Wall, and brother, Walter. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 57 years, Roland Lee; her loving children: Dean Edward and wife Libby of Navesink; Steven James and wife Helga of Delton, FL: daughter Julie Bodziak and husband, Frank of Cape Coral, FL and Ronald Lee and wife, Debbie of Old Bridge;; nine adoring grandchildren: Ashley, Jason, Kyle, Isabelle, Marcel, Jessica, Scott, Amanda and Ryan.
Friends are invited to celebrate Barbara’s life at a Memorial Gathering which will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. Interment will be private.
