John E. Regan

John E. “Jack” Regan, 89 of Oceanport, passed away at home where he resided for 65 years, on February 4, 2018.

Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Jack lived in Sea Bright and Rumson while attending Red Bank Catholic High School. After graduating he continued his education at St. Peter’s College.

Jack’s career spanned over 30 years as a Construction Superintendent for Hall Construction Company. He was a lifetime member of the Red Bank Local Carpenters Union.

He is predeceased by his parents George F. Regan and Gladys nee Mullaney, his first wife Anna Regan, his sister Joan Suckow & his stepdaughter Jeanette Gerding. Surviving is his wife Catherine nee Shaw Regan, his daughter Patricia A. Regan, his niece Audrey Suckow & his nephew Dr. Arthur Suckow.

Visitation will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, New Jersey on Thursday morning February 8, 2018 from 10:30-11:30am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church of Rumson with interment to follow at Mt, Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
