Shirley M. Lown

Shirley M. Lown, 91, passed away peacefully November 4, 2017 in Red Bank. She was born in Hoboken and later moved to Keansburg where she resided for more than 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s RC Church, Keansburg and a member of the Gold Star Mothers – Nationwide.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Lown, a son Robert and a grandson Christopher Murphy. Shirley is survived by three daughters: Virginia Murphy and her husband Leo, Patty Michael and her husband Todd and Robin Lazano. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Nichole Dourghty, Justin Michael, Robert Lazano and Alex Lazano and by four great grandchildren: Emily, Cody and Jonathan Dourghty and Bella Conti.

   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ. A funeral home service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet.
