Tribute
Alice Flynn was born April 29, 1919, and died peacefully on August 15,2022.
She was born and raised and lived most of her adult life in Yonkers, NY. She was born
to George and Anna Pyrch.
On August 1,1937 she married the love of her life Thomas Flynn. They raised their two
daughters in Yonkers until their retirement in 1970 when they moved to Florida.
Alice continued to live in Florida until her beloved Tom passed away in 1989.
She then returned to New Jersey, and lived in Leisure Village East for 30 years. At the age of 78 she started playing golf, and went on to win many tournaments in her age bracket, She had a passion for her family, card games, board games, Jeopardy,
baking ,quilting, going to flee markets, and garage sales.
She was predeceased by her beloved Tom, her parents, one sister ( Mildred), two brothers George, and Walter.
She is survived by her loving family; daughters Kathleen ( Anthony) Avallone,Lincroft, NJ, Alice ( Jean Pierre ) Cama Millbrook, NY; grand daughter Tara ( Peter) Kaszynski,
Little Silver, NJ; grandson Craig ( Allison ) Avallone, Ridgewood, NJ; Mathieu ( Jen) Cama, Bangor, Maine. Four Great Grand Children Andrew, Mikayla, Lauren, and
Addison, and her special care giver Janette.
Memorial Service and Mass of Celebration will be held at a later date.
