Ann B. Martino, 93, of Lincroft, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Queens, NY to the late Louis and Rose (Franco) Curatelli. Before moving her family to New Jersey, Ann was employed at Time and Life Magazine and Columbia University in NYC. After her children were grown, Ann worked in the Library Networks Department at Bell Labs in Holmdel for many years. She was a devoted parishioner at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church in Lincroft where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. In addition, Ann was a founding member of the Bayshore Auxiliary. She was an excellent cook and her family looked forward to her meatballs, chicken cutlets, baked Alaska and famous banana cake. She enjoyed sewing, the beach, and traveling. Her favorite activities were aerobics and zoomba. Most of all, Ann enjoyed making memories with her children and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Lee McSweeney and Colonel John Curatelli and her nephew, Gregory Schutta. She is survived by her loving children, Amy Owendoff, Arthur Martino and his wife Robin, her cherished grandchildren, Emily, Christopher, Jeffrey and Andrew, her dear sister, Millie Schutta and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Sunday February 21, 2021 from 2 - 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church in Lincroft on Monday February 22, 2021 at 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Ann’s memory to the Congenital Heart Defect Coalition, 45 Carey Ave Suite 250 #1 Butler, NJ 07405.
