Carmela Margarella

Carmela Margarella, 98, passed away at Jacobs Well Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD on August 7, 2018. She was born in Staten Island, NY to the late Michael and Marie (Mataluni) Russo. Carmela’s passion in life was ballroom dancing with her husband.

She is predeceased by her parents; her husband Alphonso and her siblings: Frank Russo, Marie Percoco and Lucille Margarella. Surviving is her daughter, Cynthia Adams formerly of Middletown, grandchildren Justine, Scott, Jennifer and Ryan and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Avenue Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Friday, Aug. 17 from 2-4 & 7-9pm and Sat., August 18th from 9:30-10:30 with a service held at the Funeral Home beginning at 10:30am. Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum in Middletown.
