Eileen M. Cahill of Middletown
Eileen M. Cahill passed away on June 16, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in The Bronx to the late James and Helena (McManus) McPartlin and has lived in Middletown since 1984. Eileen was a loving housewife to her husband and her six children. She was a proud graduate of Cathedral High School in Manhattan.
She was extremely active within her parish, St Anthony’s of Padua as lector, CCD teacher, a member of the Lazarus Society and head of the St. Anne’s Guild. Eileen gave her time to the Gennesaret Retreat, caring for the terminally ill and was active with Women’s Church.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thomas J. Cahill and her children and their spouses: Christine and Christopher Spagnoli, Thomas J. Cahill III, Mary Beth Cahill, Brendan and Stephanie Cahill, Eileen and Neal McGinley and Brian Cahill.
Also surviving are her six beloved grandchildren, Patrick, Helena, Conor, Allison, Neal and Corinne.
Visitation will take place at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave Red Bank, NJ 07701 from 4-8pm on Wednesday June 20, 2018 . A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Red Bank on Thursday June 21, 2018 at 10:00 am with interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown to follow.
