Genaro Yunior Escalante

April 13, 1991 ~ December 4, 2018 (age 27) 27 Years Old

Tribute

Genaro Y. Escalante, 27, of Red Bank, also known as "Junior" by close friends and family, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 4th.

Genaro was born April 13, 1991, in Long Branch, New Jersey but grew up in Red Bank where he lived with his family. He graduated from Red Bank Regional High School and was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church. He loved his friends and always knew how to make someone smile. His contagious laugh was only a small part of what made him the soul we all grew to love and care for. In such a short life, he managed to leave a mark in the hearts of everyone he knew, time will never erase the good times he left us, and the memory of his everlasting friendship. We will forever remember the love he had for his nieces and nephews and never forget how much he cared for his dogs. He will continue to bring a smile to our faces as we keep his memory alive. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Genaro is survived by his beloved mother Maria Castillo and father Genaro Escalante-Salas, his
loving siblings Isabel, Denise, Juan, and Eder.

A Mass will be offered for Genaro 2:30 pm Tuesday, December 11th at St. Thomas Church. 26 Sunset Ave. Red Bank. Afterward, there will be a 4:00 – 8:00 pm visitation at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, NJ.
