Helen Frances Miceli

Helen Frances Miceli, 89, of Peter Cooper Village in West Long Branch, passed away at home with a smile on her face on June 2, 2022. Helen was born in Newark, NJ to Joseph and Pasqualina (Gostardo) LaMorte.

She was the owner of Helena Jewelry Store in Red Bank. Helen was a longtime communicant of St. Michael’s RC Church in West End.

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers; Joey, Tony and Franky LaMorte and in 1991 by her beloved husband, Gerald J. Miceli.

Helen leaves to cherish her life and memory, her only son, John Miceli and adored daughter-in-law-Barbara of Manchester, NJ , her brother Gerald LaMorte and wife Linda of Basking Ridge, NJ, her grandchildren; Stephanie Ballard and husband Tim of Washington State, Julie Miceli of NJ and Frank Vannell and fiancée Lisa of Point Pleasant, NJ and her great grandchildren Chloe Ballard and Isaiah Miceli.

Family and friends may visit on Weds., June 8th from 3-5pm at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs., June 9th, 10:30 and at St. Michael’s RC Church, 800 Ocean Ave., N, Long Branch, NJ. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport, NJ.
