Jean F. Fiske

Jean F. Fiske, 92, of Tinton Falls, passed away on May 7, 2018.  She was born in Queens, NY to the late George and Madalen (Van Gilluwe) Plate.  In 1957 she settled in Hazlet, NJ and began her career as a high school English teacher at Raritan High School in 1965, where she retired in 1988.  Jean was a member of the Monmouth County Genealogy club, Monmouth Museum, and attended the retired educators meetings.

She is predeceased by her loving husband Vincent J. Fiske in 2007 and her daughter Carolyn Olson in 2017. Surviving is her son Gregory and his wife Carla Fiske, her grandchildren Nate, Abby, and Jeremy Fiske, son-in-law Kevin Olson and her cousin Gloria Secor.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the care of the John E. Day Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Jean’s memory to Queens College Libraries, Flushing, NY 11367.
