Joanne K. Izzo

Joanne Izzo, 80, a lifelong resident of Red Bank, passed away on July 12, 2021. She was born in Red Bank to the late Joseph and Katherine (Figaro) Donato. Joanne was a Past President of the Middletown Youth Athletic League who assisted with the construction of their clubhouse. She worked at the family business, Art Floral in Middletown before beginning her career at Fort Monmouth’s Department of Defense.

She is predeceased by her brother, Louis Donato. Surviving are her loving children, Salvatore and his wife Lynda and Michele and her husband Walter, her cherished grandchildren, Krystle and her husband Michael, Paige, Nicholas, Teressa-Jo, Gianna and Joseph, her great grandchildren, Sophia and Mila and her dear sister in law, Susan Donato.

A visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Sunday July 18, 2021 from 2 to 6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church on Monday July 19, 2021 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
