Kimberly Marie McInerney

McInerney, Kimberly Marie , 62 of Red Bank, N.J. passed away peacefully on Friday, November 26, 2021 with her family be her side. She was born in Far Rockaway, N.Y to the late John and Helen McInerney. Kim was a successful and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant with Spring Point ( The Atrium ) in Red Bank, N.J.
A lifelong care giver Kim, helped raise her siblings from a very young age then cared for her maternal grandmother and her mother at home ensuring their comfort and happiness. As a professional care giver, a vocation she loved, she took great pride in caring for the elderly and always went above and beyond for them.
She enjoyed being outside, hiking, walking on the beach, swimming in the ocean and horseback riding, but most of all she loved to make people laugh. Kim is fondly remembered by family and friends as a jokester, always playing games and creating fun but mostly someone who really cared and always greeted everyone with a giant smile and a warm open heart.
Kim is survived by her three siblings, Sean McInerney; Kelly MacNutt, and Blaise Bifulco and her husband Michael. Along with three nieces and nephews, Jesse, Lindsay and Michael and four grand nieces and nephews, Gary, Kayleigh, Addison, Olivia, Caleb and Markie
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 5-8 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10 AM at St. James R.C. Church in Red Bank, N.J. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown, N.J.
