Margherita Milotti of Red Bank, New Jersey, passed peacefully away at her home on Friday, November 23rd, 2018. She was born in Naples, Italy, the daughter of Ferdinando DeValenzuela and Anna (Scarpa) DeValenzuela.
Margherita’s was a life well-lived. She was a voracious reader, and she loved to travel, to cook, and she especially cherished time with her family and friends.
Margherita was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Bruno Milotti, by her son Gerard Milotti and her sister, Antonietta. She is survived by her daughter, Enilda Sansone, and by her brothers, Donato DeValenzuela and his wife Adele, and Emilio DeValenzuela and his wife Rosaria. Grandchildren Jeffrey Sansone and Alain Milotti are among those who mourn her loss.
Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue in Red Bank, NJ on Thursday, November 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 30th at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church at 121 Bridge Avenue in Red Bank, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Avenue in Fairview, New Jersey 07022. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 31805-9959.
