Mary M. Hunter

Mary M. Hunter, 76, lifelong resident of Rumson, passed away peacefully at Bayside Manor in Keansburg. She was born in Red Bank, NJ to the late Alexander and Mary (Muegge) Hunter. She was an active choir member at St. George’s by the River Episcopal Church in Rumson. Mary cherished the times spent knitting and relaxing at Sea Bright beach. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Robert and Alexander, Jr. Surviving are her loving nieces and nephew, Kathy, AJ and Maggie Hunter and Liz and Scott Flock, and her grand-nieces and nephews, Anna, Casey, James, Noah and Ewan Hunter and Shane and Jaxon Flock. 

A visitation will be held at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 7 Lincoln Avenue, Rumson, NJ 07760 on Wednesday July 28, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:30 am. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:30 am in the church’s garden. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Mary’s memory to St. George’s by the River Episcopal Church, 7 Lincoln Ave., Rumson, NJ 07760.
