Patricia “Patty” Alison Lipert was a beautiful, compassionate, hilarious, wise, hard-working and fun-loving woman who was truly dedicated to her family and loved going to the beach, crabbing, gardening, live music, University of Michigan football and was politically active. Patty passed away on May 24th after a valiant battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 64 with her family by her side.
She was born in Red Bank to the late Charles and Muriel White and grew up in Little Silver. She graduated from Red Bank Regional High School, took courses in computer science at Southern Illinois University and went on to work at AT&T as a technical writer. After several years, she left to become a full-time mom and then switched careers to real estate. As a realtor, she helped many people find apartments and homes, taking a personal interest in them and cultivating real, lasting friendships for over a decade.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alex Lipert, sister Barbara Ewald (Jeff), brother Ed White (Cathy), sons Kevin and Dan, daughter-in-law Laura, granddaughter Lilith, nephews Ken, Matt and Joel and niece Sarah.
