Paul J. Seifert, 73, of Woodbridge, formerly of New Milford, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023.

Born in Bronx, NY to Thomas and LaVonne Seifert, Paul was one of three children. He grew up in New Milford, graduated kindergarten from the former Ascension Roman Catholic School and continued the rest of his education with New Milford Schools. After high school, Paul attended plumbing trade school in Manhattan and joined the Plumber’s Local Union #1 in New York City, which he worked with for over 30 years and has been a member of for 50 years.

A true, kind and loving man, Paul deeply valued time spent with his family, whether cooking up a special meal for them, or relaxing at the beach together. Paul was passionate about boating and fishing, especially at his favorite spots at Sandy Hook and the Raritan Bay. A devotee of NASCAR, Paul was also an avid Yankees and Giants fan, as well as a follower of horseracing, having taken his future bride, Andrea, on their first date to the Meadowlands Race Track. Paul enjoyed listening to classic rock, especially Steely Dan and the classic rock hits playing on Q104.3.

Paul is pre-deceased by his mother, LaVonne Seifert, and his brother, Thomas Seifert.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Andrea (nee: Lusnia); his devoted father, Thomas Seifert; his four loving children, Michelle Gabriel, Paul Seifert and wife Daniela, Eric Seifert and wife Brittany and Brian Seifert and wife Jennifer; his ten cherished grandchildren, Alexa Yendrey and husband James, Benjamin and Julienne Gabriel, Gabriella and Nico Seifert, Izzy and Brendan Seifert, Valentina and Natasha Waslik and Chase Seifert; his caring sister, Tricia Meyer; his two nieces, Lori Mufson and husband Nat and Donna Mahan and his two nephews, Travis and Dylan Meyer. He also leaves behind his four precious grand-dogs, Baci, Callie, Peppa and Frank.

When Paul was around you would always hear laughter.  From telling stories of his life to giving those around him a “hard time”, his distinct laugh will be missed by all who knew him.

Paul’s sweet heart, “no filter” personality, and his meticulous ways (especially when he cooked) will forever live in his children and grandchildren.

Paul‘s  cremation request happened on 4/20…we know Dad is happy.
