Ronald C. Knoth, 89, of Lincroft, passed away on Monday December 10, 2018. He was born in Irvington, retired to Long Branch before moving to Lincroft in 2010. Ronald proudly served our country in the U.S Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Middletown Senior Center for many years. He had a passion for sailing and playing tennis. The most prized possession of Ronald was his loving family. Ronald will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were privileged to have known him.
Ronald is predeceased by his parents Raymon and Gertrude (Meier) Knoth, beloved wife Gloria of 54 years in 2011 and his children Ronald Knoth, Jr. and Marianne Knoth. Surviving are his loving children Edward Knoth and his wife Lisa of North Carolina, Audrey Muratore and her husband Joseph of Cranford, Curt Knoth of Missouri, and Elizabeth Immerman and her husband Edward of Lincroft, his cherished grandchildren Michael Knoth, Melanie Funderburk, Kylie Scott, Sarah Muratore, Marianna Muratore, Dylan Knoth, Jesse Knoth, Kalli Knoth, and David Immerman and his dear sister Patricia Slade of Massachusetts. The Knoth family would like to thank Pazzo’s Restaurant, Brother’s Pizzeria and Patricia’s of Holmdel for their kindness and hospitality to our family.
Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Thursday December 13, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday December 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Christ Church in Shrewsbury. Interment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Middletown Senior Center, 900 Leonardville Road, Middletown.
