Rosalie Puches Lohmann

Rosalie Puches Lohmann - 6 August 1928 - 28 November 2021

Rosalie Lohmann, 93, of Claremont Court, Middletown, died Sunday 28 November at the Care One assisted living facility in Jackson.

Born in New York City, to Felix and Terese (Jacobovitz) Ramirez, of Guadalajara, Mexico.  Eduardo Gallegos, also of Guadalajara, was a stepfather.

Rosalie graduated from Carteret High School and married returning veteran Edmund Puches of Pottstown, PA in 1946.  Mr. Puches died in 1971.

Rosalie was a longtime resident of Carteret and was employed by Perth Amboy General Hospital for 35 years, directing its credit office until her retirement in 1996.  She married longtime companion Walter H. Lohmann of Lawrenceville in 1997.  They resided at Shadow Lake Village in Middletown, where Rosalie was an active member of the Kiwanis Club.  Mr. Lohmann died in 2018.

She is survived by her children Edmund (Patricia) of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, Russell (Linda) of Ocean Grove, NJ, Adrienne (Mark) of Burlington, VT, grandchildren Emory (Cynthia) of Wilton, CT, Jolie of Ocean Grove and great-grandchildren Laurel, Everett and Dean.

In addition to her husbands, Rosalie was pre-deceased by her brother Carl Ramirez, of Tarrytown, NY.
