Sean Gallagher

Sean Allen Gallagher, 43, of Oakhurst, passed away suddenly on September 25, 2019. He was born in Dover, NJ before settling in Oakhurst in 2007. Sean enjoyed any and all outdoor motor sports, always up for spending quality time with his son, racing, four-wheeling and hill climbing on the trails. He was very proud of his daughter's scholastic and athletic accomplishments. He adored and loved his wife and children.

He is predeceased by his sister Siobhan. Surviving is his beloved wife Dawn (LeValley) Gallagher, his loving children Patrick and Kiernan Gallagher, his father Michael Gallagher, his dear siblings Shane and his wife Stacy, Shannon and her husband Gian Carlo, Cole Gallagher and Casey Gallagher, his nieces and nephews Kelsey, Dalton, Wesley Jr., and Vaughn and his great niece Lily.

Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Tuesday October 1, 2019 from 4 – 8 p.m. In respect with Sean’s wishes cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Sean’s memory to the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at Suicidepreventionlifeline.org.
