Theresa (Gigi) Niziolek

Theresa Niziolek (Gigi), 92, of Ocean passed away on April 6, 2018 in Neptune.

She was born in Newark to the late John and Frances (Gagliardi) Arezzi. She lived in Irvington for 20 years before moving to Lavallette where she resided for 8 years. She then moved to Shadow Lake Village, Middletown for 13  years before settling in Ocean for 4 years.

Theresa worked for Deborah Heart and Lung Center. She was a very talented opera singer, and hair colorist and loved glitz. She was also a member of the Italian American Club while living in Lavallette.

Theresa was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1999, her sister Marie, and her brother John.  She is survived by her loving daughter SallyAnn Testa (James) of Ocean.

Also her adoring grandchildren Janine Colavita (Jason), and Renee Koch (Robert). She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren: Jayden, Ty, Mason, twins Hunter and Conner, and Madison.

We will all remember her as loving and compassionate to her family who she worried a great deal about. She was a person who always lent a helping hand and was generous. She was always ready for a good time with her family who brought a smile to her face. We loved her dearly and she will be missed greatly.

Services are privately being handled by John E. Day Funeral Home.
