My condolences are extended to the Waldron family upon the passing of their Dad.
It was a privilege to have Mr. Waldron a few times at the Waldron family home in Jersey City. Regretfully, I never did a recorded interview with him when researching my New Jersey History article on the 1957 Victory Movement. But over the years I have had the opportunity to consult his prolific writings as a political correspondent for the Hudson Dispatch & Jersey Journal. The Murray collection at the NJ Historical Society has binders containing press clippings of most of his articles covering the 1957 Jersey City municipal election campaign.
Hopefully the sadness of your loss can be overcome by the blessing of having had your father in your lives for so many years.

To the Waldron Family - I am very sorry to read the news of Bob's passing. He was a grand guy and I enjoyed seeing and talking with him. A true Jersey City citizen. I will raise an appropriate pint for him in Ireland. Very sorry I cannot be there for the service. I know you will all tell stories of his life down the years to come.
